What are your superstitions?

I would tell you that I don't believe it, but I still do not listen to the band's cd before the show.
What are the things in life that you're truly passionate about?

Music and food....there are other things? *turns on stereo, heads for kitchen*
What song gives you the most holiday cheer?
Submitted by Roxy.
I generally find all holiday songs horribly annoying, save for the below mentioned Apologetix "Have Yourself A Parody Little Christmas," my favorite of which is a Santa-themed rework of Van Halen's "Panama".
I wouldn't say that it gives me any "holiday cheer" though. Cookies and gift-giving do a much better job.
I just finished listening to approx. 480 songs. It took me many hours over the last few days to import, sort, tag, listen, and chose 256 finalists for entry into my djing collection.
I'm surprised there were that many, actually. To be honest, though, probably over half of them will never even get played, not because they aren't good, but because I just may never do "that" set.
Last week, I added almost 400 songs to the collection. Now, how the hell am I gonna remember what is what??
After all of this, however, I have some observations:
-Oomph! is virtually unable to write a shitty song. It amazes me.
-The new Alter Ego stuff is sort of "meh". :-/
-I am unable to fathom how people really enjoy listening to an entire Die Form album.
-KMFDM has been writing the same song over and over for like 20 years.
-Lützenkirchen is really good [expect another post on that down the line].
-Apoptygma Berzerk really needs to just stop. Like, NOW. *poop*
-I suspect that people who like XPQ-21 will not, in fact, like their new single. I'll investigate this theory later.
-I could do a really awesome laid back, loungy set, if ever the opportunity arose.
-It's a wonder that Seabound isn't far more popular. I don't understand this, really.
-Maps and Diagrams is perfect music to study physics to.
-Apologetix's Christmas parody album is the funniest Christmas album ever. EVER.
What's the most klutzy thing you've ever done?
Submitted by Jecka.
I'm a total klutz, there's no telling what's the "most" klutzy. Probably the most embarrassing ones involved TOTALLY CUTTING OUT THE MUSIC in the middle of one of my sets, but this never happens anymore, thanks to modern technology and that "do not load song into deck while track is playing" preference being checked off.
Oh, and there was that time I...you know what? That's too embarrassing to post on the internet.
It's hard to go wrong with a band that consists of Dirk Ivans [Klinik] and Eric Van Wonterghem [Monolith]. What you get is clean, modern industrial that does not sound like someone took a house track and just ran it throught some distortion.
I usually find that while I like power noise, I can't really figure out how to dance to it, and much of it is too repetitive to keep my attention. I have been listening to this a lot lately, and it's not getting old yet. :)
Who's the hardest person to shop for on your holiday list?
My neice. She's four, and I don't want to get her more stupid crap that clutters up her room, but I don't want to give her something boring, either.
